This Sheffield garden was completely transformed with the installation of a beautiful Indian sandstone patio, creating a spacious, practical outdoor area perfect for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying the garden all year round.
The original garden consisted of an ageing patio, uneven pathways and large planted areas that limited the usable outdoor space. Our team redesigned the layout to maximise the available area while maintaining attractive planting borders around the perimeter.
Creating a Modern Outdoor Living Space
The project began by carefully removing the existing patio, pathways and unwanted garden areas before excavating the ground to the correct depth.
Following preparation, we installed a new sub-base to create a solid foundation before laying premium Indian sandstone in a traditional mixed-size pattern. Matching edging was installed around the perimeter along with a new pathway leading to the timber shed, providing easy access throughout the garden.
The result is a clean, contemporary patio that blends perfectly with the property’s brickwork while making the garden feel much larger and far more functional.
